当地时间5月4日晚间，也门胡塞武装发言人叶海亚·萨雷亚发表声明称，鉴于以色列决定扩大在加沙地带的军事行动。胡塞武装决定对以色列进行全面空中封锁，并不断袭击以本-古里安国际机场为代表的以色列机场。同时胡塞武装还呼吁各国航空公司在此声明发布后认真考虑，取消前往以色列的航班，保障飞机和乘客的安全。 当地时间5月4日，胡塞武装发表声明称，其导弹部队于当天发动了一次军事行动，使用一枚高超音速弹道导弹打击了以色列的本-古里安机场。胡塞武装表示，导弹准确命中目标，并导致机场暂停运行。袭击发生后，以色列国防部长卡茨在声明中表示，以色列将会对袭击者采取“加倍报复”。以色列总理称，也门胡塞武装的袭击“源自伊朗”，以色列将对该组织及其盟友伊朗进行报复。 此外，以军总参谋长埃亚勒·扎米尔4日说，以军已向数万名预备役军人发出征召令，以扩大在加沙地带的攻势。 新一轮巴以冲突爆发以来，胡塞武装频繁使用导弹和无人机在红海、阿拉伯海等海域袭击“关联以色列”的船只，并不时对以陆上目标发动袭击。胡塞武装要求以色列停止在加沙地带的军事行动。(总台记者 张雨辰)
