【明報專訊】本港首間私立大學香港樹仁大學創辦人之一、校監胡鴻烈前日離世，享年105歲。樹仁昨發出訃告，稱胡鴻烈在家人陪伴下安詳辭世，大學仝人深切悼念。胡鴻烈與已故妻子鍾期榮畢生奉獻教育，兩人於1971年自資創立樹仁書院（大學前身）。特首李家超對胡鴻烈辭世表示哀悼，讚揚他與妻子創辦樹仁，增加香港青年接受專上教育機會。樹仁校友、政務司長陳國基向本報表示，胡氏夫婦是值得尊敬的教育家，「看他們當年履歷，兩位也是法律界有地位人物，如果不是辦學，可以賺到很多金錢」。…
