政府曾表示，目前正在考虑引入新的法律来处理错误信息和虚假信息。 <\/p>\n

香港青年协会表示，这样的立法是有争议的，应该由社会彻底讨论。 <\/p>\n

小组召集人之一陈中基补充说，如果政府要推动立法，法律应该针对社交媒体平台，而社交媒体平台往往发挥着关键作用在传播错误信息和虚假信息方面：<\/p>\n

“你需要那个渠道来传播假新闻，然后假新闻就会对社会有害，”陈说。 <\/p>\n

他还指出，鼓励人们进行更多的事实核查很重要。 <\/p>\n

“我们的年轻人查实意识好，知道必须做，但很少去最权威最权威的查实机构。谁最有能力做这些事情。” <\/p>\n

陈敦促政府向大学设立的事实核查机构提供更好的支持和资源，以帮助人们区分事实和虚假信息。 <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
