绵阳基地航拍图。 川观新闻记者 陈俊伶 任紫鑫 10月29日，由国家林草局和绵阳市政府共建，绵阳科技城新区与中国大熊猫保护研究中心(以下简称“熊猫中心”)共同实施的熊猫中心绵阳基地，在四川绵阳科技城新区完成工程移交，即将试运行。 熊猫中心主要承担大熊猫野外生态研究、人工繁育、野化放归、国际合作交流及大熊猫国家公园科技支撑等工作，目前下设卧龙神树坪、卧龙核桃坪、都江堰、雅安4个基地。截至去年年底，熊猫中心的大熊猫种群数量达到387只，大熊猫保护繁育正逐渐从以数量为主，过渡到以质量为主。 绵阳基地鸟瞰效果图。 根据公开资料，新建成的熊猫中心绵阳基地位于绵阳科技城新区鼓楼山生态公园，用地约120公顷，构建入口门户区、竹林屏风区、岷山秘境区、山林溪谷区、科技融合区、疾控救护区六大功能区，建设熊猫圈舍54套和五类伴生动物展示区，将满足圈养大熊猫的饲养繁育、医疗救护、自然教育等功能。 大熊猫室内场馆。 大熊猫厨房操作间。 大熊猫医院CT检查室。 全国第四次大熊猫调查数据显示，绵阳有418只野生大熊猫，占全国大熊猫野生种群的22.4%，数量位居全国地级市第一。绵阳基地将充分发挥绵阳市科技和区位优势，优化大熊猫保护研究布局，促进岷山大熊猫种群保护，积极推动和助力我国大熊猫保护事业高质量发展。 目前，熊猫中心已完成大熊猫饲养管理团队组建工作，为绵阳基地大熊猫的保护、科研、饲养等工作提供坚实保障。 (图片由熊猫中心提供)
