【明報專訊】本港上次發生五級火，已是2008年8月10日旺角嘉禾大廈的嚴重火警，當日上午9時許，樓高15層的嘉禾大廈一間夜總會疑因冷氣機漏電起火，由於大廈部分樓層無防煙門，又有多間以木板間隔的獨立房，造成「煙囪效應」，火勢迅速蔓延。大火焚燒約6小時，下午3時多撲滅，釀成4死55傷，包括兩名消防員殉職。該宗火警是2000年以來首宗五級火，昨日大埔宏福苑火警是事隔17年的第二宗。…
