外媒 The Verge 發佈了與 SteamOS 及 Steam Deck 架構師 Pierre-Loup Griffais 的採訪內容。<\/p>\n

<\/a>Valve 一直在投入資金開發模擬器和轉換層，目標是讓 x86 遊戲能在 Arm 處理器上運作，讓 Windows 遊戲在 Android 等平台上運行，且無需移植和串流。<\/p>\n

Pierre-Loup Griffais 表示，Valve 從 2016 年開始招募開發者，主要是構建 Linux 及 Arm 平台的轉換層。在開發過程中發現，在硬件價格和能耗來到一個區間時，大多數流動裝置搭載的 Arm 處理器成為關鍵攻克目標。<\/p>\n

據 Valve 判斷，可以量產的轉換層至少需要約十年開發週期，能讓 Steam Frame 在本地運行為 Windows 編寫的 x86 代碼，無需依賴 PC 串流。<\/p>\n

目前 Valve 的 Proton 轉換層有一個版本能在 SteamOS 環境下運行 Android 軟件，有利於開發者將 Android XR 與 Meta Quest 的遊戲轉換至 Steam Frame。該技術可在未來讓移動端的原生代碼經由 Steam 在其它裝置上使用。<\/p>\n

近年監管機構迫使 Google 和 Apple 開放移動平台封閉生態。例如歐盟實施的《數碼市場法》，在迫使 Apple 在歐盟範圍支援側載與第三方應用商店，目前 Epic Games 在開始利用該類規則。<\/p>\n

Google 則在開始收緊 Android 側載政策，多個國家的監管機構正推動立法進行限制。如果未來法律開始生效，iPhone 和 Android 裝置都可以成為「Steam 手機」。<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
