\t\t\t\t\t\t主機的效能有多重要？在主機世代中，較低效能裝置的銷量通常比高效能裝置多，而非相反。但數位運算能力依然極具吸引力，每當新硬體即將亮相時，粉絲們通常都希望它能盡可能強大。<\/p>\n

然而，這一趨勢已開始有所趨緩。Switch 和 Switch 2 都不算特別強大，但它們的銷量卻比更強的競爭對手快，如今無數遊戲即使畫面較簡單、畫面不真實，卻仍能賣出數百萬台，並超越 AAA 大作。<\/p>\n

在日本，關於效能的爭論比西方更為激烈，因為任天堂基本上已經接管了日本，這在日本遊戲中很常見。但不管日本玩家怎麼想，日本開發者都有明確的願望清單。 Automaton 指出，Amata Games 執行長高橋裕道（曾任 Sony 與 Tecmo 遊戲總監）已透過社群媒體加入效能辯論， 並寫道 （與 Bing 翻譯）：<\/p>\n
