\t\t\t\t\t\t在樂高公布他們自己認為是史上最具革命性產品後，塵埃還未落定，許多非常擔心的樂高愛好者就開始擔心傳統玩法的基礎正面臨致命危險，甚至專家也對科技強化的玩法發表負面評價。<\/p>\n

Smart Play 系統包含一塊簡單的 2×4 積木，透過標籤可以判斷其身份，並能根據光線與聲音表現，並與啟用智慧的迷你人偶及其他智慧積木直接互動。<\/p>\n

在接受 IGN簡短訪談時，資深副總裁兼新業務產品組負責人Federico Begher表示，智慧積木系統並非傳統樂高的替代品：<\/p>\n

「這並不是說它能取代什麼。這是我們相信的額外層次，會長久存在。它會成為我們系統在遊戲中的一部分，就像磚塊、迷你人偶一樣。」 <\/p>\n

多年來，LEGO 曾有過不同電力元素的整合，但這個無線系統允許與迷你人偶和實體積木實際整合，且不需要應用程式、手機或電腦，根據 IGN 報導，LEGO 代表非常堅持要維持實體遊戲的部分，即將推出的星際大戰系列則利用它來模擬引擎聲，根據速度和方向。 但能與迷你人偶互動，或與其他智慧積木互動，而該積木透過簡單放置不同的標籤積木，被告知它是TIE戰機，而非X翼戰機。<\/p>\n
