HBO主管凱西·布洛伊斯（Casey Bloys）接受 《紐約時報》訪問時表示，第二季目前正在撰寫中。 「我們的目標是不要有太大的空檔，尤其是因為孩子們正在成長。這不會是一年展;這場展覽太大、太龐大了。但是……他們現在正在寫第二季，」 布洛伊斯說。<\/p>\n

有這麼多原著素材要處理，哈利波特第二季的劇本應該不會花太久時間。不過，我們接下來還得進入《哈利波特與密室》改編的製作與後期製作階段。很難想像HBO會在一年內完成這些工作，以保持哈利波特的上映節奏緊湊。<\/p>\n

由於沒有計畫每年發行新作，因此在看待哈利波特系列時，很容易產生懷疑。我們在《怪奇物語》中見過這種情況，一部劇集依賴演員是年輕孩子，但他們很快就會長大，不再扮演這個角色。哈利波特的男巫階段後來結束了，但很多粉絲還是喜歡早期校園生活的奇幻氛圍。<\/p>\n
