\t\t\t\t\t\t安迪·威爾，《火星救援》和《Project Hail Mary 的作者，成功從他的科幻小說中創作出兩部大片。當他不在思考如何將現代科學與奇幻小說融合的新方式時，似乎他相當喜歡《星際爭霸戰》。足以向派拉蒙推銷自己的影集，即使他並不喜歡近年來該系列推出的其他影集。<\/p>\n

在《 好萊塢報導》的《Critical Drinker》播客中，威爾解釋說他很高興看到最近被取消的《星際爭霸戰：星際艦隊學院》的結束。威爾承認他喜歡一些較新的影集，但認為其中很多不如經典的星際爭霸戰電視劇。<\/p>\n

「我給你我的看法，我只是個消費者。我喜歡《奇異新世界》。我覺得還不錯。我並不討厭企業號。我覺得有點奇怪。我覺得下層甲板既有趣又好玩。其他人都可以走了，」 威爾解釋道。 「還有一件事：我向派拉蒙提案了一個星際爭霸戰節目，當時我和所有節目的製作人透過Zoom視訊，花了很多時間和執行製作亞歷克斯·柯茲曼（Alex Kurtzman）交流。我不太喜歡新版的星際迷航。他這個人真的很好。但同時，那些節目也很爛。他人很好。但他們沒接受我的提案，所以，去他的。」 <\/p>\n

目前，Paramount+沒有新的星際爭霸戰項目，儘管還有兩年的《奇異新世界》和一季的《星艦學院》尚未播出。之後，《星際爭霸戰》似乎可能會暫停一段時間。<\/p>\n
