\t\t\t\t\t\t看來不僅是人們的家園和生計受到氣候危機威脅，熱浪、洪水和野火似乎也成為民主威脅的主要因素。選舉在某些地區不僅是政治力量，也受到極端天氣的影響。<\/p>\n

《 衛報 》報導的一份新報告指出，過去二十年來，52個國家至少有94場選舉和公投受到氣候相關議題的影響。壓力最重的是本已脆弱的民主體制，尤其是非洲和亞洲的民主體制。僅2024年，氣候相關事件就擾亂了18個國家的23場選舉，包括巴西、塞內加爾和赫塞哥維納。<\/p>\n

倫敦國王學院政治學教授、報告共同作者莎拉·伯奇表示，選舉應該圍繞可預測的氣候事件調整。 「選舉應該在災難發生的機率最低的時候舉行。她說，在某些情況下，選舉管理機構還需考慮調整選舉時間表，以降低因短暫災害造成的干擾可能性 。」<\/p>\n

伯奇還提到美國仍計劃在十一月舉行選舉，那是颶風季節。為減輕潛在災害的影響，報告建議政治辦公室與氣象學家密切合作，以判斷氣候危機可能發生的時間。<\/p>\n
