【明報專訊】大埔宏福苑大火燃燒逾43小時後大致救熄，其間消防處動員近千人員救火。副處長（行動）陳慶勇昨於火災聽證會供稱，入職27年從沒處理過短時間內多於一幢大廈起火，同意這場火史無前例。大火由宏昌閣蔓延，部分大廈於1至3小時後被波及並有死傷，災後不少居民質疑消防處部署。陳慶勇昨解釋，當時選擇集中資源於宏昌閣和宏泰閣遏止火勢而非抽調人手到其他大廈疏散，是希望為居民爭取逃生時間，以免火勢蔓延更快，也避免更多物品掉落堵塞「生路」影響居民逃生及前線救援，事後檢討仍覺得是可行方案。聽證會今日會傳召消防處長楊恩健作供。…
