4月23日，商务部部长王文涛会见欧洲汽车工业协会主席、奔驰集团董事长康林松，双方就中欧汽车产业合作、欧盟对华经贸限制措施等问题进行交流。 王文涛指出，当前国际经贸格局正经历深度重构，不稳定不确定因素增多，汽车行业也处于转型之中。今年是“十五五”规划开局之年，中国将继续扩大高水平对外开放，加快发展新质生产力，促进产业高端化、智能化、绿色化发展。这将为包括奔驰在内的外资企业扎根中国、参与全球竞争提供稳定预期和广阔机遇。 王文涛强调，中欧妥善解决电动汽车案，向世界释放了双方有意愿、有能力通过对话妥善解决分歧的清晰信号。近期，欧盟出台了一系列具有保护主义色彩的经贸限制措施，对中欧经贸关系造成实质性损害。中方已表达严正关切，并将坚定维护中国企业合法权益。希望奔驰集团和欧洲汽车产业界积极发声，呼吁欧方调整不当条款，为中欧企业合作营造公平、公正、非歧视的市场环境。 康林松表示，中国“十五五”规划为奔驰集团发展提供了战略机遇。奔驰将坚持长期主义，深耕中国市场，继续扩大对华投资，与中方伙伴深化汽车电动化、智能化等领域创新合作，实现“更中国、为全球”目标。欧洲汽车产业重视对华合作，愿继续发挥积极作用，支持欧中双方通过对话磋商化解经贸摩擦。
