根據 PC Gamer 的報導，巫師海岸正在準備重製《博德之門 1》和《博德之門 2：阿姆恩之影》，據說當時 BioWare 的首席設計師 Kevin Martens 也參與其中。從那時起，馬滕斯一直是奇幻電子遊戲發展的關鍵人物。在參與《博德之門2》和《質量效應》後，他離開BioWare加入暴雪，擔任《暗黑破壞神III》的首席內容設計師。<\/p>\n
