但是……那份幸福很快就消失了。社群媒體上很快有幾位網友注意到 Steam 頁面 上提到，所謂的生成式 AI 是用來製作這款遊戲的。這對許多認為遊戲是藝術的人來說是一個警訊，藝術應該由有靈魂和意圖的人創造，而不是懶惰地按個按鈕讓 AI 創造娛樂。有人擔心這會導致藝術形式的侵蝕，因為 AI 是建立在既有基礎上，而非嘗試開創新局。<\/p>\n

世嘉自己對 AI 的使用描述如下：<\/p>\n

「在世嘉公司，我們利用生成式 AI 作為開發者的支援工具，目標是為用戶提供更優質的內容，並讓開發者能更專注於創意工作。 <\/p>\n

「我們在開發 Crazy Taxi: World Tour 時使用了這類生成式 AI 支援工具。遊戲中的表演者並未使用任何 AI。」<\/p>\n

然而， Game Informer 想了解更多，並聯繫 Sega 詢問對這項具爭議決定的進一步評論。他們收到的回覆稍長，內容大致與原始陳述相符，並新增了兩項內容。首先，世嘉表示部分生成式 AI（顯然完全可選）的使用，讓開發者能專注於 「為消費者提供更好的遊戲」，並解釋了這款遊戲的使用方式，澄清結果仍由人類監督與審核：<\/p>\n
