到現在為止，大多數人可能已經注意到即將到來的 Gears of War: E-Day 看起來非常壯觀。加拿大工作室 The Coalition 與英國開發商 Playground Games （《極限競速：地平線 6》）齊名，是 Xbox Game Studios 中製作壯觀畫面的頂尖團隊——事實上，Epic Games 邀請他們合作製作了幾乎寫實的 Unreal Engine 5 技術試玩版《駭客任務：覺醒》。<\/p>\n

他們最新的完整自製遊戲是 2019 年的《戰爭機器 5》，所以 The Coalition 真的有充足的時間投入開發 Gears of War: E-Day 。10月6日終於是發售日，屆時我們將扮演年輕的馬庫斯·費尼克斯和他的朋友們，隨著賽拉星球上一片混亂（請點 此閱讀我們的大型預告）。<\/p>\n

但是……品質是有代價的。記者湯姆·亨德森以可靠消息來源聞名，在最新一集的 Insider Gaming播客中，亨德森表示 「《戰爭機器》的預算簡直瘋狂。我聽說超過4億美元。」<\/p>\n

如果這是真的，那就代表《Gears of War: E-Day 》很可能是史上開發成本最高的五款遊戲之一，而且要記得它的行銷才剛開始。是否能回收成本仍有待觀察;Microsoft 在上週末的 Xbox 遊戲展示會上宣布，這款遊戲將僅在 PC 和 Xbox Series S\/X 平台獨家發售，並澄清不會是限時獨佔。<\/p>\n

不過如果遊戲表現足夠好，仍應帶來強勁銷售，並帶動 Game Pass 訂閱量的提升。<\/p>\n
