当地时间6月22日，联合国粮农组织发布全球农业高风险区域分布图，警告新一轮厄尔尼诺现象或于数周内启动，且强度高于以往周期，全球农业生产及粮食安全须进入全面戒备状态。 本次干旱高风险区域集中，萨赫勒地带、非洲南部、南亚、东南亚、中美洲干旱走廊及加勒比地区受灾概率最高，部分农田和牧场在未来数月出现干旱的概率超过50%。 上述区域曾在2015–2016年、2023–2024年厄尔尼诺灾害中遭受重创，极易出现粮食绝收、畜禽死亡、家庭负债攀升、民生迁徙等问题。 粮农组织指出，相较以往，本轮厄尔尼诺叠加效应更为严峻。 粮农组织自然资源官员Jorge Alvar-Beltrán表示：“本次厄尔尼诺与以往截然不同。全球气温已显著升高，叠加大范围冲突与粮食不安全问题，本轮气候冲击将集中作用于本就抗风险能力薄弱、应对资源匮乏的脆弱地区。” 针对持续攀升的气候风险，粮农组织联合世界粮食计划署（WFP）启动前瞻性应急倡议，拟筹措2.02亿美元专项资金，帮扶22个高风险国家的880万民众。 粮农组织绘制的高精度风险地图可将预警精度细化至1平方公里，助力各国摒弃粗放式救灾，精准聚焦高风险重点区域，定向投放资金、灌溉物资、畜禽饲料等帮扶资源。 厄尔尼诺是一种自然发生的气候模式，由于太平洋中部和东部的表层海水变得异常温暖，导致世界各地的天气模式发生变化。平均而言，厄尔尼诺现象每2-7年出现一次，一次通常持续9-12个月。 由于厄尔尼诺往往可以提前几个月预测、缓慢发生且遵循一定规律，因此各国可以制定预案，提前做好应急准备。 （文章来源：财联社）
