7月11日，中国工程院官网更新了该院领导信息。中国工程院第九届院领导班子组成如下：张玉卓同志任党组书记、院长；张军、陈杰、李仲平、陈建峰、陈薇等同志任党组成员、副院长。 张玉卓（1962.01- ），工学博士学位，洁净煤技术专家。第十九届中央候补委员，二十届中央委员。现任中国工程院党组书记、院长。 长期从事能源领域的研究与产业化工作，在新型煤化工等领域取得多项创新成果。主持建成全球首套年产108万吨油品的煤直接液化装置并实现安全稳定长周期运行，使我国成为唯一掌握百万吨级煤直接液化技术的国家；应用我国自主知识产权技术，主持率先建成60万吨\/年煤基烯烃工程并实现商业化运行，奠定了我国煤基烯烃产业的国际领先地位。曾获国家科技进步一等奖、二等奖、三等奖各1项，省部级奖多项。 2011年当选为中国工程院院士。
