根據 路透社 報導，菲律賓武裝部隊（AFP）表示，一艘中國海警剛殼充氣艇，船上有八名船員，接近擱淺在第二湯瑪斯淺灘的軍艦，並拍攝了照片和影片。當兩艘菲律賓海軍船隻靠近驅逐中國船隻時，船員「激烈且激烈地反應，用木棍擊打菲律賓海軍成員」。<\/p>\n

兩國互相指責對方發出威脅並加劇局勢，中國則否認在南海交鋒期間有侵略行為，並指責菲律賓侵佔其水域。此議題預計將於本週在馬尼拉舉行的東南亞國家聯盟（ASEAN）會議上討論，中國外交部長也將出席。<\/p>\n
