\t\t 製作人川田正佳表示，重製版「和主線作品一樣重要」。
\n\t\t 儘管重製版如今佔據了卡普空產品線的重要部分，但幾乎沒有人抱怨，儘管玩家通常偏好新作。當然，卡普空注入新生命的遊戲已有20到30年歷史且極為出色，這點也很重要，但它們同時也扮演著日本巨頭另一個重要角色。<\/p>\n

製作人川田正親在接受Game Informer Magazine訪問時表示（感謝 任天堂一切），這些重製作品幫助他們籌措全新遊戲的資金，例如最近發行的《Pragmata》：<\/p>\n

「能夠重溫並重製舊作，幫助卡普空達成每年推出《惡靈古堡》作品的目標，同時也讓團隊能持續挑戰自我、磨練技藝。這並不代表重拍版就不重要。事實上，它們和主線標題一樣重要。」 <\/p>\n

過去，卡普空經常在主線作品之間推出各種《惡靈古堡》系列的衍生作品，但這些作品很少表現得很好。但他們的翻拍作品變得極受歡迎，現在已成為公司策略的重要部分：<\/p>\n

下一部衍生作品，如你所知，是《Resident Evil Veronica ，預計於2027年發行。之後，有傳聞說會重製第一代《惡靈古堡》和《惡靈古堡零》，還有第五和第六部，看來卡普空能持續這種策略很長一段時間。順帶一提，到了2037年，《惡靈古堡7：生化危機》將迎來20週年，屆時重製該作大概也相當合理。<\/p>\n
