\t\t\t\t\t\t雖然目前尚不清楚這部長期開發的真人版《Spawn》電影是否會拍攝，但已有一個項目正在籌備中，隨時準備上映。這點在最近接受 ComicBook採訪時，Todd McFarlane本人也證實了，他提到這是一部包含完整配音的動畫電影，演員陣容包括Mark Hamill和Keith David。<\/p>\n

麥克法蘭解釋道： 「我不知道我有沒有說過，我們之前正在開發這個Spawn動畫的回歸。然後我們……最後我跟製作方和律師吵架，所以我就把所有東西都買回來了。 <\/p>\n

「我其實有一個90分鐘的動畫節目，全部都畫好了，除了細胞。所有聲音都已經完成了。一切都準備好了。我們只需要一點擬音，也就是音效之類的東西，然後交給工作室實際畫畫，對吧？<\/p>\n

「我們就像，它一直放在盒子裡等著用。我一直在想，不，我覺得我需要先把電影上映，然後砰，電影一旦上映，如果有任何成功，再推出，但它就一直擱著。所以任何想做動畫的人，我第一件事就是說，嘿，我已經準備好了，可以開始製作。如果我們現在就拿走這個盒子裡的東西，因為我把它全都買回來了，我們很快就能到達那裡。」<\/p>\n

至於這部《星際殺手》動畫電影的設定，麥克法蘭只說哈米爾飾演一名叫Twitch的偵探，而大衛則回歸為星際配音。談及後者，麥克法蘭將大衛與斯波恩的關係比喻為凱文·康羅伊對蝙蝠俠的關係。<\/p>\n
