央视记者当地时间8月21日获悉，一份美国国务院致国会的通知显示，特朗普政府已启动向联合国支付7.25亿美元的程序，用于偿还美国拖欠联合国的部分会费，预计将在特朗普下月赴纽约出席联合国大会并发表讲话前完成支付。不过，这7.25亿美元还不到美国欠款总额的20%。 联合国方面今年5月表示，美国拖欠的款项超过40亿美元。但美国方面认为实际欠款总额低于这一数字。根据《联合国宪章》，如果会员国拖欠的会费达到或超过前两年应缴会费总额，可能失去在联合国大会的投票权。 美国是联合国预算的最大出资国。特朗普政府此前拒绝支付部分联合国常规预算和维和预算的强制性摊款，并削减对多个联合国机构的自愿性资金，同时退出多个国际机构。（央视记者 曹健） 【未经授权，严禁转载！联系电话028-86968276】
