如果你要精確指出音速小子在經歷了約15年那些常常平庸甚至糟糕遊戲後的重大回歸時間，2017年會是個不錯的猜測。那時世嘉回歸基礎，推出了由Christian Whitehead開發的Sonic Mania ，這款遊戲在玩家和媒體間都大受歡迎，從那時起，電影系列和備受好評的遊戲持續發展。<\/p>\n

但除了更新版之外，Sonic Mania 而且，目前還沒有續作發行，這顯然是粉絲們一直以來一直期待的。也許這未來仍有可能成為現實，因為在接受 Game Informer （透過 Nintendo Everything）採訪時，音速小子團隊負責人飯塚孝治表示：<\/p>\n

「我們和他們依然非常親近。我們曾一起吃飯喝酒，因為關係對我們很重要。他們也有很多專案正在進行，符合他們想做的事和商業需求。我們現在沒什麼好談的，但他們確實很想再和他們合作，我們覺得他們能做出很棒的遊戲。雖然還沒正式出局，但目前也沒有進展。」<\/p>\n

簡單來說，關係已經建立，渴望也存在。雖然目前沒有任何進展，但聽起來這仍是可能早日成真的事情。<\/p>\n
