四川在线记者 薛剑 四川省第十四届运动会开幕式将于8月8日在乐山市奥林匹克中心拉开帷幕。8月7日，四川省第十四届运动会(以下简称“省运会”)新闻发布会在乐山举行，四川省体育局、乐山市人民政府相关负责人分别介绍了本届省运会竞赛组织情况、省运会筹备情况。 乐山市委宣传部供图 本届省运会分别设置青少年体育项目和群众体育项目2个大类，其中青少年体育项目共设29个竞赛大项、759枚金牌；群众体育项目共设20个竞赛大项、241枚金牌，预计将有2万名运动员参加，总体呈现项目设置更加全面、全民参与更加广泛、综合比拼更加彰显、体教融合更加深化的特点，赛会规模、竞赛项目、参与人数也将达到历届之最。 本届省运会，对于承办方乐山而言，不仅是展示城市形象的舞台，更是其积极融入“一带一路”和成渝地区双城经济圈建设，加快提升乐山区域中心城市发展能级、建设“中国绿色硅谷”和世界重要旅游目的地的难得机遇。为此，自2018年以来，乐山全市上下全力以赴推动省运会筹备工作，投入近60亿元，新建乐山市奥林匹克中心“一场三馆”等13个场馆、改造提升15个现有场馆，完善道路基础设施。截至目前，设备设施、疫情防控、服务保障、道路交通等各项筹备工作均已就绪。
