近日，在通胀仍居于高位， 银行 业动荡持续，经济衰退呼声渐长的背景下，美国 利率 前景的不确定有所增加，但市场的普遍预期是美联储下月仍将再进行一次25基点的小幅加息。 但美国债券巨头 太平洋 投资管理公司(PIMCO)的前首席经济学家保罗·麦卡利(Paul McCulley)认为，华尔街对美联储 利率 路径的看法是错误的。 他认为， 除非通胀意外飙升，否则不断增加的经济压力将说服美联储在下个月(5月)停止加息 。 “这将是一个暂停，然后是一个转向(今年晚些时候)。”麦卡利周二在接受媒体采访时表示。 麦卡利最新预测是在美国3月 CPI 数据即将公布之际发表的。目前市场预计3月美国通胀率将从2月的6%降至5.1%。 麦卡利指出， 美联储官员将关注即将公布的通胀数据，并认识到 银行 系统面临的压力已经与他们所采取的近500个基点的加息举措共同作用 。 与市场普遍预期相左 麦卡利对美联储将暂停加息的预测与目前市场的主流看法向左。根据CME“美联储观察”工具，美联储5月加息25个基点概率约为70%。 麦卡利认为，经济界和市场之间存在严重的脱节，尽管这种脱节是暂时的。 他表示，未来一两周，从定价角度来看，华尔街将朝降低加息预期那个方向移动，前提是经济数据不断恶化，同时美国国债市场活动令人不安。 麦卡利还认为， 即使没有经济衰退，美联储政策也将出现转向(降息)，并建立一个更健康的市场 。 不过，全球最大资产管理公司 贝莱德 则认为，美国通胀未来数年都将高于美联储目标，顽固的通胀将阻止美联储在2023年降息。 （文章来源：财联社）
