【明報專訊】運輸署昨日公布，下周一（26日）起會與各公共交通營辦商展開聯合行動，打擊違規使用2元乘車優惠，運輸署職員、公共交通營辦商職員及外判保安員將組成三人小隊，在全港專營巴士及小巴路線、渡輪線查票，「幾乎每日」巡查，為期至少兩個月。運輸署承認過往個案一般只要補回差價便放行，今次行動如遇違規，會「視乎案情」轉交警方跟進或檢控。有議員表示，小巴及巴士等不如港鐵般職員獲賦權可即時發罰款告票，令行動可打擊濫用的成效成疑，阻嚇力有限，認為政府刻意高姿態巡查只是「無牙老虎」。消息人士稱，政府在打擊行動後會檢視2元乘車政策推行情况，以待明年初財政預算案時評估相關開支對政府長遠財政負擔的影響，並檢視2元乘車資助安排。…
