据香港特区政府新闻公报，香港环境及生态局局长谢展寰8月14日启程前往美国西雅图，出席亚太区经济合作组织（亚太经合组织）能源部长会议。 谢展寰将于8月15日及16日（美国时间，下同）出席亚太经合组织能源部长会议，会议主题为“为所有人创造强韧且可持续的未来”。在为期两天的会议期间，亚太经合组织二十一个成员经济体的能源部长及高层官员将多方面讨论如何加强合作，以加快清洁能源转型，同时确保区内经济的可持续和共融发展。讨论亦会包括能源行业的减碳进程，加强区内能源抗御力和安全，并为亚太经合组织成员设立新的能源目标。 在8月15日举行有关能源行业减碳的讨论环节，谢展寰将向其他亚太经合组织经济体分享香港在能源行业减碳方面的策略和工作，包括发展 新能源 设施，例如海上液化 天然气 接收站；设立目标，于2035年或之前停用燃煤作日常发电；加速发展可再生能源；探讨与邻近地区合作以增加使用零碳能源。 逗留美国期间，谢展寰会与其他亚太经合组织经济体代表举行双边会谈，在能源议题上就加强合作交换意见。另外，谢展寰亦会参观 新能源 设施，包括 微软 公司的地热中心。 机电工程署副署长潘国英亦会出席会议。 谢展寰将于8月17日早上结束行程返港。他离港期间，将由环境及生态局副局长黄淑娴署任环境及生态局局长。 （文章来源：界面新闻）
