“中国生物”微信公号4月16日消息，近日，由国药集团中国生物北京 生物制品 研究所、武汉 生物制品 研究所研发的两款新型冠状病毒灭活疫苗(奥密克戎变异株，简称“O株”)获得香港大学及医管局港岛西医院联网研究伦理委员会的审查同意，以及香港药剂业及毒药管理局的临床试验批件，正式获准在香港开展新冠疫苗的序贯免疫临床研究。 自奥密克戎变异株暴发以来，中国生物立即组织科研攻关团队，启动针对奥密克戎株疫苗的研发。所属北京 生物制品 研究所、武汉生物制品研究所全力以赴开展科研攻关，第一时间研发了BIBP-新型冠状病毒灭活疫苗(O株)、WIBP-新型冠状病毒灭活疫苗(O株)，两款疫苗均采用Omicron(奥密克戎)毒株接种于Vero细胞，经培养、灭活、纯化、氢氧化铝佐剂吸附制成。 疫苗研制成功后，中国生物积极与香港大学开展深度合作，第一时间向香港研究中心提交了伦理申请和临床试验申请，并分别于4月12日和4月13日顺利获得伦理批准和临床批件。 中国生物表示，下一步，将采用随机、双盲、队列研究的形式，在已完成2或3剂新冠疫苗接种的18岁及以上人群中进行序贯免疫临床研究，评价BIBP-新型冠状病毒灭活疫苗(O株)、WIBP-新型冠状病毒灭活疫苗(O株)两款疫苗的安全性和免疫原性。 （文章来源：中国 证券 报·中证网）
