《联合国气候变化框架公约》第28次缔约方大会(COP28)“中外知名企业家可持续发展对话会”12月1日在迪拜举行。智利造纸巨头CMPC集团总裁弗朗 西斯科 ·鲁伊斯-塔格莱表示，我们看到实现CCUS的巨大机遇，因为拥有林地，这些林地可能成为重要的碳汇。 弗朗 西斯科 介绍，CMPC集团位于南美，在巴西有自己的森林，在智利也有自己的森林，共四个纸浆厂，中国是非常重要的客户。 “2019年我们作出了减排的承诺，并且提出了非常坚决和具体的目标，在整个流程中减少化石能源的使用，之前用碳的锅炉已经全部淘汰了。我们希望在2030年减少50%的排放，到2040年实现碳中和。”弗朗 西斯科 表示。 弗朗西斯科还提出，所有的目标都是由科学来赋能推动的，5年前开始CMPC所有的项目立项都要考虑到新技术应用，新增的投资也要进行绩效考评。在此过程中非常高兴能够参与到世界可持续发展工商理事会相关倡议和议程，能够更加高效实现减排，对已经取得的成绩非常骄傲。 提及CCUS(碳捕集、利用与封存)技术，弗朗西斯科表示，我们看到实现CCUS的巨大的机遇，因为我们拥有林地，这些林地可能成为重要的碳汇，我们在做业务规划和生产方案时也会考虑这方面的发展潜力，会使用天然纤维，加强原材料的循环利用，使得这个行业更加绿色。 本次活动由生态环境部宣传 教育 中心、世界可持续发展工商理事会和中国新闻网共同主办。(完) （文章来源：中国新闻网）
