近日，高州市云潭镇垌尾村的人大代表对该村土地利用情况开展实地考察 调研 ，了解到，垌尾村立石垌有53亩土地，因长期以来取水困难导致耕作收成低，村民们陆续退耕尝试种植龙眼、 荔枝 等果树，但仍由于自然条件制约和管理问题令土地丢荒。 “这么好的地，就这样扔在那里真是太浪费了！应该结合当前退林还耕的政策将土地充分利用起来，发挥其最大的价值。”垌尾村人大代表联络站站长陈文汉的话引起大家普遍赞同。 为了让昔日“沉睡”的土地“活”起来，提高农民群众收入，壮大村集体经济，助力 乡村振兴 ，垌尾村人大代表们积极奔走，协同垌尾村委会通过向上级部门沟通协调和努力争取，顺利解决了53亩土地的灌溉水渠和水源等问题。 同时，人大代表们发动村民召开会议，将退林还耕的利好和工作要求传达到各家各户，对于个别对政策有较大疑惑的村民，他们挨家挨户上门做好群众思想工作，对退林还耕地涉及到农民的土地权益问题进行耐心的解说。最终，在云潭镇垌尾村人大代表的努力推动下，立石垌的53亩土地全部完成退林还耕。 “垌尾村人大代表联络站通过这次参与推动退林还耕，不仅加强了人大代表与群众的沟通，展现代表们履职尽责风采，还在政府与民众之间架起沟通桥梁，促进信任和理解。”陈文汉说。 （文章来源：南方Plus）
