中新网北京2月12日电当地时间2月11日，世界泳联在卡塔尔多哈宣布，经过申办陈述和世界泳联执委会讨论，最终确定北京将举办2029年世界游泳锦标赛及成人游泳锦标赛。 世界游泳锦标赛是世界泳联主办的世界顶级游泳赛事，代表了世界游泳运动的最高水平，共设游泳、跳水、花样游泳、水球、公开水域游泳、高台跳水6个项目，预计将迎来超过200个国家和地区的2500名运动员参赛。 世界成人游泳锦标赛是世界泳联推出的一项广受欢迎的群众性体育赛事，在世界游泳锦标赛结束后举行，参赛人员须为业余选手或退役运动员，以俱乐部名义报名，按年龄分组比赛，设有游泳、跳水、花样游泳、水球、公开水域游泳5个项目，参赛规模约万人。 作为游泳运动的热门城市，北京已经举办了多项游泳、跳水、花样游泳和水球赛事。世界泳联主席侯赛因·阿尔-穆萨拉姆表示，北京再次迎来重大的游泳运动赛事，将为运动员们提供优秀的比赛条件，使他们发挥出最高水平。“感谢我们和中国朋友们的长期合作，我们相信全球游泳运动员都可以期待在北京这座城市享受世界级的体育赛事和娱 乐活 动。” 2029年世界游泳锦标赛及成人游泳锦标赛的成功申办，将进一步推动游泳运动在我国的发展，提升我国游泳运动竞技水平。此外赛事在京举办也是奥运遗产高效利用的重要举措，将充分展现“双奥之城”的城市魅力，助力北京国际交往中心功能建设和国际消费中心城市建设，进一步提升北京的国际影响力。(完) （文章来源：中国新闻网）
