当地时间2月16日，中共中央政治局委员、外交部长王毅在出席慕尼黑安全会议期间应约会见英国外交大臣卡梅伦。 王毅说，当前，国际局势变乱交织，冷战思维泛起，保护主义肆虐，经济复苏迟缓，全球性挑战接踵而来。中英同为联合国安理会常任理事国，应加强战略沟通，为促进安全、维护和平发挥应有作用。为此，双方应共同努力，扩大利益交汇点，加强交往合作，妥善处理分歧矛盾，推动中英关系重回健康稳定发展的正确轨道。这符合两国根本和长远利益，也是国际社会的共同期待。 卡梅伦表示，英方愿从战略角度看待英中关系，同中方发展更具建设性的双边关系，以相互尊重的方式管控分歧、解决问题。英方将继续在符合双方共同利益的领域推进合作，期待同中方加强可再生能源、经贸、 教育 等对话。作为联合国安理会常任理事国，英中应共同维护和平安全、建设更好世界。 王毅表示，中国是和平与安全记录最好的大国。中国的发展是和平力量的增长，也是稳定因素的增强。我们倡导并践行真正的多边主义，坚定维护以联合国为核心的国际体系，以联合国宪章宗旨和原则为核心的国际关系基本准则，以国际法为基础的国际秩序。(完) （文章来源：中国新闻网）
